Fiquei muito surpreso e satisfeito com o enorme comentário sobre o meu trabalho. Pretendo "defender-me" no site que referiste mas para já vou apenas responder ao comentário.
Bem sei que o estilo "dark" enjoa muita gente e até a mim me enjoa a quantidade.Acho que é uma das coisas más da época em que vivemos: tudo começa na exploração de um conceito e multiplicá-lo vezes sem conta até se tornar puro enjoo...depois de espremido vemos que na verdade só um reduzido número de artistas vale a pena, seja no"dark" ou em qualquer outro estilo. Talvez por isso não me preocupe muito em abraçar algo de hermético. Julgo que o que eu mostro aqui revela alguma variedade (pelo menos espero). Não posso negar que sinto uma atracção pelo dito "dark" desde muito miudinho. Também a música que se ouve reflete a arte que trazemos cá para fora...mas mesmo aí sou cheio de contradições - ou variedades.
Confesso que me entristece um pouco saber que estou a passar uma imagem negativista, mas não me surpreende; é talvez por isso que muitas vezes tento fazer comentários que revelem despreocupação, humor e que na verdade não me levo muito a sério nas minhas incursões mais escuras...
Tento levar esperança e positivismo quando me pedem conselhos; sei (por experiência própria) a frustração que é para um miudo fazer o seu melhor desenho e não ter nenhum reconhecimento...alguns chegam a desistir! Isso põe-me fulo da vida...Acho que isto de desenhar tem muito mais de paixão do que de talento.É essa paixão que eu tento ao máximo transmitir...eu nunca faria estes trabalhos se não estivesse completamente apaixonado pelo simples acto de desenhar.
De há alguns anos para cá tenho vivido do desenho...faço storyboards para agências de publicidade, isso tirou-me todo o tempo para a criatividade e o Deviantart tem sido o meu escape criativo...voltei a sentir uma enorme paixão por "fazer coisas"...passo horas a desenhar anúncios de televisão com imagens imaginadas por outros e por isso preciso de chegar ao fim do dia e...continuar a desenhar, mas desta vez coisas minhas, o que eu gosto e, algumas vezes, o que posso levar aos outros e conseguir um
Não tenho nada publicado...apenas 6 livros para crianças em parceria com mais dois amigos. Os livros do Zacarias! Tenho umas coisas em fanzines mas nada de realmente assinalável...
Apesar deste enorme texto, tenho a sensação de que fica algo por dizer, mas tenho pouco a esconder, por isso, fála-me de novo...eu prometo não ser tão extensivo...
